Home-made muesli bars with banana and chocolate

Home-made muesli bars are ideal as an invigorating snack: Banana, chocolate and cashews give you new energy.

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C top and bottom heat.

Mix the dry ingredients in a bowl. Mash the banana with a fork and add it to the dry ingredients along with the coconut oil and egg, then mix well.
  2. Place the mixture on a baking tray lined with baking paper (approx. 2 cm thick) and spread evenly. Cut into pieces measuring about 2x5 cm using a knife, then bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  3. Leave the bars to cool completely before decorating them. For the decoration, melt about 30g of chocolate in a bain-marie and trickle it over the bars as a topping.
