Simple apple-blueberry crumble
Crunchy, fruity, irresistible: this apple-blueberry crumble is probably the easiest recipe for happiness. Savour it yourself!
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 200 °C top and bottom heat.
- Wash, peel and dice the apples.
Grate a little lemon zest (approx. 1 tsp) from the lemon, add the zest to the diced apple along with 1 tbsp lemon juice and mix well. Add the mix to an oven-proof form together with the frozen blueberries. - Mix the oat flakes, Hermesetas Granulated and vanilla in a bowl and knead with the butter. Coarsely chop the almonds and work into the crumble mass. Spread the finished crumble mass on the fruit and bake on the middle shelf of the preheated oven. After baking for 40 minutes, check whether the apples are soft and the crumble is brown.
It tastes wonderful with Greek yoghurt or whipped cream!
Hint: If you like your crumble to be juicier, simply add 50 ml of apple juice or water to the fruit, or alternatively stew the fruit in the pan and then bake it in the oven with the crumble mass.
