Soaked lemon cake
Preheat oven to 180°C. For a cake mould (approx. 23x 8cm), greased with butter.
To make the batter, begin by stirring the butter until it peaks. Then add Hermesetas Granulated and stir the mixture until fluffy. Add one egg after the other, stirring until the mixture is light. Mix in the grated zest from the two lemons.
Add the remaining ingredients and mix well. Grease a cake mould with butter and fill the mixture. Bake for approximately 50 to 60 minutes in a 180°C oven. Let the cake cool down, then pierce several times with a knitting needle or wooden skewer. Mix the lemon juice with icing sugar and pour over the cake several times.
Allow to cool completely.
