Terms & Conditions
Participation in the competition prize draw is organised by Hermes Sweeteners Ltd – hereinafter referred to as the “Organiser” – and is free of charge and governed exclusively by these Terms and Conditions of participation.
Competition Entry Requirements and Procedures
The duration of the competition is from 15.07.2021 – 29.07.2021 inclusive. Within this period, competition entrants (hereinafter referred to as “entrant”) will have the opportunity to enter the competition online via the Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/hermesetas.com.au/. By entering the competition, the entrant accepts the following Terms and Conditions:
Participation
In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to like and share the social media profile https://www.facebook.com/hermesetas.com.au/. Participation is only possible within the entry period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered for the prize draw. Only one submitted entry per entrant will be entered into the prize draw. It is strictly prohibited to use multiple email addresses or multiple Facebook profiles to increase your chances of winning. Participation in the competition is free of charge.
Eligibility
All natural persons over the age of 18 with permanent residence in Australia are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organiser and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services. Excluded from participation are all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the Organiser as well as their family members. The required information must be complete and truthful. Automatically generated entries and technical manipulations will be excluded from the competition. The Organiser reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to exclude persons from participation and to draw the prizes among other participants if there are justified reasons, for example:
(a) in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the prize draw,
(b) in the event of breaches of these conditions of participation,
(c) in the event of unfair practices, or,
(d) in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the prize draw.
All entries received during the period 12.07.2021 – 26.07 2021 (inclusive) will be considered for the prize draw. The entrant is liable for the correctness of all data provided. By participating in the competition, the entrant accepts these terms and conditions of participation.
This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with, Facebook or Instagram. You are providing your entry to the Organiser and not to Facebook and/or Instagram. The information you provide will only be used by the Organiser for the purposes stated in these terms and conditions.
Winner notifications and distribution of prizes
Three (3) Hermesetas Thermo Mugs will be offered as prizes in the competition. The design of the prize may vary depending on availability. The picture of the item is not binding. The winners will be determined after the closing date by means of a random draw among all participants. If the competition is linked to a task, only those participants who have completed the task correctly will be entered into the draw. The competition is not a game of skill, and all entrants have an equal chance of winning a prize.
The winners will be informed on or before 31.07.2021 by e-mail or by social media channel at the end of the competition period. If there is no declaration of acceptance of the prize by the winner within 48 hours of notification by the Organiser, a new winner will be determined. The prizes will be sent via Australia Post to the winners for arrival by 31.8.2021.
The prizes will be awarded exclusively to the three winners and are not transferable to other persons. An exchange, a self-collection, or a cash payment in lieu of the specified prizes is not possible. Each entrant will only be considered once in the competition.
Termination of the competition
The Organiser expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any unforeseen reasons which may disrupt or prevent the competition from running as planned.
Data protection
Participation in the competition requires the provision of personal data. The entrant assures that the personal data provided by him/her, in particular first name, surname and e-mail address, are true and correct. It is acknowledged and agreed that, in accordance with this data protection declaration, the data collected may be stored, processed and used for statistical purposes and marketing, such as product information, newsletters, etc. The data will be processed in compliance with the Swiss Data Protection Act. The Organiser points out that all personal data of the participant will neither be passed on to third parties nor be made available to them for any use without consent from the entrant. Participation in the competition implies acceptance of the Organiser’s applicable data protection declaration.
