Crunchy chocolate muesli (granola)
Too many raisins? Not enough nuts? Something missing? Make your own crunchy chocolate muesli containing all your favourite ingredients!
- Place the dry ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Add the apple puree and coconut oil to the dry ingredients, mix well and spread onto a baking tray lined with baking paper.
- Bake (or dry) the granola for around 45 minutes at 160 °C top and bottom heat. Open the oven a little every ten minutes to allow the steam to escape and to stir the granola. If the granola is still damp after 45 minutes, leave in the oven for longer.
- Once the granola is dry, remove from the oven and allow to cool completely. Store in an airtight container and use within a few weeks.
Hint: It is very important to make sure that this crunchy muesli is completely dry and cool before packaging (otherwise it may start to mould).
